ECMO drivers
The Bristol Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) Service is based at the BRI. We provide two types of response for them:
– Ambulance and driver
– RRV and driver (for deployment of additional team members to support the main team and/or for training).
The following document covers the main information you need to know about the Service and what they require of you. Please contact the ECMO Nurse Co-ordinator (number in SOP) if you are delayed or have any questions whilst deploying/deployed for the Bristol ECMO Service.
